Optimised hall planning and the new Carpets & Rugs product segment await international visitors and exhibitors at the largest and most international trade fair for home and contract textiles. Even companies that were not represented in 2023 are relying on Heimtextil 2024 as an important business platform with their registration. With interior design, trends and inspiration, Heimtextil in January 2024 is the reliable kick-off for the new season. Outstanding start in January: Heimtextil 2023 ends with great internationality and sets the course for sustainable transformation
Streams of visitors from all over the world, intensive business encounters with top international decision-makers, an overwhelmingly positive atmosphere and inspiration as far as the eye can see: With 44,000 visitors and 2,400 exhibitors together from 129 nations, the global textile industry was guest in Frankfurt for four days at Heimtextil 2023 and filled the exhibition halls. In numerous workshops, tours, lectures and networking formats, buyers also explored circular approaches, the important role of certificates and new applications for textile materials - and thus experienced wholly integrated sustainability at Heimtextil.
Frankfurt is hosting the global textile industry: With around 2400 exhibitors and participants from over 120 countries, Heimtextil 2023 kicks off the trade fair year
Heimtextil kicks off with a panel talk on sustainability transformation: How do manufacturers in the home and contract textiles industry have to rethink their supply chains in view of legally prescribed reporting standards? How can transparency become a competitive advantage? And how is sustainability considered right at the beginning of product designs? Diverse approaches and ideas for sustainability transformation were the focus of the opening press conference on the first day of Heimtextil 2023.
Heimtextil 2023: bundled range of fibers, yarns, outdoor fabrics and imitation leather in hall 4.0
At the upcoming Heimtextil from January 10 to 13, manufacturers and weavers will find a global range of fibers and yarns for decorative and upholstery fabrics - for the first time compactly and centrally located in a separate area in hall 4.0. The leading international trade fair for home and contract textiles is thus responding to the growing demand for textile materials for the preliminary stage. Around the area, visitors also await high-quality suppliers of outdoor fabrics, technical textiles for the contract sector and imitation leather.
Foundations laid for the Heimtextil Interior.Architecture.Hospitality LIBRARY
The selection of products to be shown at the Interior.Architecture.Hospitality LIBRARY has been made. On 30 November 2022, an expert jury chose the functional textiles to be presented in the LIBRARY at Heimtextil 2023. 85 exhibitors were selected from the large number of entries and will display their products in the elaborate setting of the LIBRARY in Hall 4.0. The textiles will be marked with the name and stand number of the manufacturers concerned.

Under the motto ‘Textiles Matter’, Heimtextil 2023 sets the benchmark for tomorrow’s forward-facing and sustainable textile furnishing. Hence, the focus is on circularity. From the Flemings Hotel Riverside Frankfurt, Marta Giralt Dunjó of futures research agency FranklinTill (Great Britain) presented the design prognoses for 23/24. At the coming Heimtextil in Frankfurt am Main from 10 to 13 January 2023, the presentations of progressive new products will generate stimulating impulses in the Trend Space.
