The İpekiş Factory, which was established following Atatürk’s instruction to utilize the silkworm-breeding and cocoon production of Bursa region in a short time such as 2 years after the proclamation of the Republic, has left behind 95 years in the textile industry today. İpekiş Factory, bases of which were laid by Atatürk’s own hands on October 1, 1925, is known as the first company of the Turkish Republic pioneering the industry. İpekiş, which was established as a joint stock company at that time, also takes pride in being the first export company in the history of the Republic.

İpekiş Hosiery Inc. continues its production, marketing and sales activities in the wool industry field. İpekiş Hosiery Inc., which started operating in its new factory established on a closed area of 25,000 m2 in Bursa 2012, continues to add more value on itself with new investments. İpekiş’s head office and marketing office is located in Nisantasi district of Istanbul.We perform our production by contributing to nature on the way we set off with the understanding of “respect for people and the environment”. We shape fashion with our customer, quality, trend and design-oriented products, latest technology and understanding of flexible production.Our annual production capacity in our modern facilities consists of 5 million meters of weaving and 9 million meters of dye finishing for Indoor & Outdoor upholstery fabrics with Linen,acyrlic,polyester,viscose,recycle (sustainable) & Flame Retardent polyester fabrics and particularly, 100% wool, wool polyester, wool polyamide and wool blended fabrics.
