Meublatex group has its origins in 1972 when the Group President, M. Néji MHIRI, set up a small company specializing in the manufacture of all kinds of wooden, metallic and synthetic furniture, under the trademark name « Meublatex ».
The applied strategy, being based on a moderate pricing policy, the products had gradually gained recognition on the market thanks to an excellent value for money.
In order to meet a constantly growing demand, Meublatex Group has extended its activity eld in 1980, by setting up other furniture manufacturing units in addition to raw material manufacturing units, aiming to supply its plants in best quality, price and delivery time conditions.

Fibratex
Third subsidiary of Meublatex Textiles created in 1996, specializing in the manufacture of nonwovens fabrics such as :
The white wadding of composition 100% polyester, with different density which is non allergic, is resistant to washes and manipulations. It is ideal for upholstery: duvet, on mattresses, covers and bedspread, clothing, seat.
The gray wadding and the felt are based on recycled fiber, made-up or natural-based coupons such as cotton or wool ... they are bound by needling and by thermo-fastenings. It is used for the padding of spring mattresses.
Felt is used for mattress toppings, and as under carpet (underlay).
100% synthetic geotextile. It is very important for infrastructure: consolidation of roads, airstrips, dams, lakes, tunnels.
Floor and Carpet Decor
Fourth subsidiary of Meublatex Textiles created in 2000.
It is specialized in the manufacture of mechanical carpet and rugs made up of:
100% polypropylene which is a synthetic material that gives a shine and softness to carpets. This material is sterile and does not promote the development of bacteria and mites it is very strong: it resists flexibility, cleaning chemicals.
80% wool and 20% polyamide This material is very common for the manufacture of carpets: it is not very messy, soft and shiny.
