Roomi Tex is a part of Roomi Group that has diversified business interests in

textiles, machinery, automobile, construction and agricultural products. With its

 headquarter in Karachi, Pakistan, the group operates in different parts of the world.

Roomi Tex was established in 1985 as a weaving unit in the port city of Karachi,

 Pakistan. it went into home-textile manufacturing and exports in the year 2000

 after which it has been on a consistent growth path. Roomi Tex has significant

 presence in Europe with products

being exported to the following countries:

Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Spain, Portugal, Denmark, Switzerland, UK, Scandinavia and France.The company also has warehouses and local distribution in Dubai, South Africa

 and West Africa.

OPERATIONS

WEAVING

Roomi Tex has a strong fabric base with an in-house weaving facility comprising of around

300 Sulzer and Air Jet looms weaving fabrics upto 400 thread count and 340 cm wide.

PROCESSING

Roomi Tex has strategic alliances with some of the best processing mills

in karachi with state-of-the-art dyeing and printing facilities.

PRINTING:

• a) Rotary machines with the capability of printing up to 18 colors 320 cm

(125”) wide.

• c) Flat bed panel printing of upto 8 colors with 2.8 mtr repeat and 10 colors

with 2.0 mtr repeat.

DYEING:

A complete range of continuous dyeing comprising of mercerizing, washing,

thermosol and pad steam with capability of dyeing pigments and reactive

 shades up to 315 cm (124”) wide.

STITCHING

Modern stitching is essential in today's textile world. Roomi Tex’s new stitching facility is

equipped with 150 machines working under strict quality control systems. The unit

produces top quality Woven bed linens, curtains, table and kitchen linen, cushion covers

and accessories with a monthly capacity of about 1 million pieces.  The systematic quality

checks and procedures, from cutting to packing, ensure that all items produced confirm to

international quality standards.

QUILTING

Our associate company has Computerized Single-needle and Multi-needle quilting

 machines with a production capacity of 75,000 comforters/quilts per month which

can be increased as per requirement.

The set-up has its own wadding/poly fill plant with a production capacity of

100,000 KG per month.

QUALITY CONTROL

An internal quality control system is in place to check the quality at every stage of

production from greige to final product. The quality control department works

independently and reports directly to the top management.

At Roomi Tex, we also strive to reach the level of excellence for health and

safety standards as required by our customers. Production is OEKO TEX

certified and certificate available when needed.

PRODUCT LINE

Roomi Tex has a diverse product range comprising of all types of white, dyed and printed bed linen,

including sheets, pillowcases, duvet covers, bedspreads, comforters, bed-in-a-bags, filled cushions,

window curtains, shower curtains, and kitchen/table linen. The company also supplies Rot fabrics to

wholesale and converters in different parts of the world.

The product range is based on fabrics in 100% cotton and polycotton blends from 70 GSM up to

300 GSM, and from 100TC to 400 TC.

The company specializes in fabrics such as reinforce, cretonne, flannel, twill, panama, percale,

sateen, stripe sateen, dobby & jacquard.
