This certification ensures full traceability of recycled content, responsible production practices, and compliance with social and environmental criteria across our supply chain.

Our fabric has undergone extensive testing to confirm its resistance to 18 common household stains. Additional in-house tests have proven its ability to repel 39 different stains. Plus, its stain-resistant properties remain effective through multiple wash cycles up to 10 wash cycles, ensuring long-term ease of maintenance.

Most conventional water repellent finishes use C8 or C6 technologies, which contain fluorocarbons—compounds made from carbon and fluorine atoms. While effective in repelling water and oil, these substances have been identified by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) as potentially hazardous to human health and the environment.

At Ateja, we are committed to sustainability and safety. That’s why we use WR C0, a non-fluorocarbon (C0) water repellent that is free from harmful substances such as APEO, PFOA, and PFOS. Despite being fluorine-free, WR C0 maintains excellent water repellency and allows fabrics to remain breathable, ensuring comfort and performance.
