Established in 1975, Hungaria Down Ltd. has grown from its humble beginnings to become a key supplier for many prestigious brands in Europe and worldwide. Drawing on influences from past Japanese ownership and German techniques, we have perfected our craft in the down bedding industry throughout our journey.

Situated in the heart of Hungary's goose and duck down production region, our factory in Mezokovacshaza ensures access to the highest quality materials. Our expertise is divided into two distinct yet equally important departments: our meticulous Artisanal Division and our efficient Mass Production Department.

This dual approach allows us to cater to a wide range of client needs, from exclusive, handcrafted luxury items to high-volume retail products, all while maintaining our signature quality and attention to detail. Our yearly output approaches 5 million pillows and 200 thousand duvets. 

We prioritize ethical sourcing and full traceability of our materials. We source our Hungarian materials exclusively from Hungarian suppliers, ensuring it comes from geese and ducks raised for food production, never from live-plucked or force-fed animals. Our products are certified by the Hungarian Down Traceability System (HDTS), allowing customers to trace the origin of their product's filling via an interactive QR code. Our certifications include Downpass, RDS, Nomite, SafeDown and Downafresh.
