About us

GREEN STREET FABRICS is a “boutique”-weaving mill nestled in the valley of the Leie-river near Kortrijk. In this region, the Flemish textile-industry was born on the land where flax was gracefully and abundantly blossoming to be rooted in the nearby Leie-river.
For over 45 years GSF has been specialising in the jacquard weaving technique to craft high-end, custom-made jacquard interior fabrics. Our brand stands for flexibility, reliability and exclusivity in terms of both quality and service. At GSF, we create and produce jacquard fabrics for upholstery, decorative and curtain use, as well as jacquard woven rugs and carpets up to 280 cm width full repeat. Any optional treatment can be done : fire-retardant, liquid-repellant, stain-cleansing,... .

In our laboratory, we carry out various tests such as colour fastness (Atlas Suntest CPS+), durability (Martindale test), resistance to slippage (seam slippage test) and formation of pilling (pilling test)..

Obviously, as a European producer using European yarns, our products carry the STANDARD 100 label by OEKO-TEX® and comply with the REACH quality standards.

At Heimtex 2025, we will launch several new fabrics for the HOLIDAY-HOME and LEISURE industry, as well as IMO-certified fabrics for the CRUISE-industry. We can also supply fabrics for or with digital printing, both for upholstery and curtain-use (black-out / dim-out / fire-retardant).
