BeirTex® bath mats – From problem terry to an attractive solution

Bath mats are a recognised challenge in the laundry, as they require a long drying time. With BeirTex® bath mats, the drying time will be reduced. We have also upgraded the Zanzibar and Cuba bath mats to be operational-fit products by using well-proven BeirTex® yarns in them. The terry towelling is 35% polyester, so you can cut your energy costs for the product by an additional 30%.

Beirholm’s new full-service table linen concept takes the development one step further. With its endless combinations, it fulfils another equally vital end-user requirement: greater variety!

The new full-service concept comprises a series of design modules where all items match and may be combined to produce an endless array of colours, designs and finishes. The tablecloths are produced in timeless colours and may be freely combined with napkins, table mats and table runners to create simple and sophisticated table settings – for any type of meal, and for every season.

The result strongly supports the quality image of your customers, and lets their customers experience a sense of quality, style and comfort. This applies to venues from restaurants and cafés, to hotels, holiday resorts and many more.

BeirTex® table linen is a yarn-dyed range with a mixture of white and coloured yarns.

As well as producing an attractive appearance, this results in very high visual colour fastness, where the restaurant can easily set the tables without sorting.

The concept was developed based on the familiar BeirTex® qualities, ensuring that the “feel-good” sensation of cotton preferred by end-users is as convincing as in cotton products.

With the cotton fibres on the outside, BeirTex® readily absorbs starch so that smaller amounts are needed to achieve the same results as previously.

Crucially, too, BeirTex® Integrated Standard qualities and BeirFlex® qualities are sustainable well beyond the confines of the laundry. Sustainability is built into the entire process, from cotton fibre to finished product.

Tests on BeirTex® duvet covers in industrial laundries have shown, after 100 wash cycles with a roller speed of 42 m/min. at 170°C:
