Mission
At nxtile, our mission is to maximize positive impact in the textile industry from fiber to end-of-life. We produce 100% recycled cotton textile products at full industrial scale without any concessions to the quality of the final product. Our proven patented technology guarantees premium cotton products made from different cotton waste sources. All tiers in the supply network are fully certified and products are 100% traceable from fiber to delivery. We serve European retailers, brands, and hospitality companies converting their regular or organic virgin cotton products to 100% recycled cotton. We offer on time in full logistics and additional end-of-life solutions. Besides our one stop fulfillment services and premium product quality, we help our customers to communicate the savings that we make in water, land and CO2 emissions by offering tailor made impact solutions.
Unique 100% recycling performance
We produce premium recycled cotton textile products that are 100% mechanically recycled from cotton waste. With our unique patented process there is no need to blend in other materials like polyester or viscose to create strength. It puts a halt to microplastics during the product life and creates the best solution for end of life.
Production
Our production facilities are fully compliant to any industry standard or technique. We provide any type of knitting, weaving, dyeing, printing or finishing method. Our production is fully socially certified and uses sustainably powered production processes and water purification techniques.
Market
nxtile.eu is of Dutch origin and produces private label, completely customizable, premium quality bed, bath, kitchen, basic apparel and shopping/tote bags. Our retail & hospitality clients value the importance of being able to communicate calculations of KG of CO2, liters of water and M2 of arable land they saved. This positive impact often makes the difference when final consumers decide on their purchase.
Amongst our B2B clients there are Brands, Supermarkets, Specialty-, Department- and drug stores as well as hotels, but also NGO’s such as WWF and Sea Shepherd.
Customers can access details about the product's reduced environmental footprint and traceability via a tag or QR code. External certification is optional and available upon request.
Circular as the Dragon’s rebirth
All the items we make are fully circular designed, no polyester blends and trims are used. After a long product life this will enable to ensure quality and sustainability for the next re-recycled ones. We symbolize this with our Dragon based on the ancient myth of death and rebirth. A trust mark stating that all tiers in the supply network are certified for a sustainably and socially responsible 100% recycled cotton production fully traceable from fiber to delivery. Circular at the same time, ready for rebirth, saving water, land and CO2 at each stage of the process.
Two founders, accelerate the industry to positive impact
The two founders Leon and Jos made careers in supply chain, in the top management of major retailers and brands such as Ahold, Hema, Nike and Adidas, prior to choosing to undertake their own work for a better world. Their extensive experience in many corporates made them conclude that change is too slow in current business systems. They decided to build a new system from scratch, providing a fast track to sustainability for any company selling textiles. Their know-how makes it possible to not only guarantee product quality but also traceability of the manufacturing and logistics process.
