Naia™ Renew Staple Fiber
Beschreibung
Creating sustainable homes from bedding to towels
Naia™ Renew is made from 60% sustainably sourced wood pulp and 40% acetic acid derived from certified recycled* waste material through Eastman’s molecular recycling technologies. This process breaks down hard-to-recycle waste materials into their basic molecules. The molecules are then transformed into acetic acid, which is used as a core feedstock in the production of Naia™ Renew acetate fiber. This process supports a circular economy — making the most of natural resources by creating end-of-life solutions for waste to reduce, reuse and recycle materials. This keeps waste out of landfills and incinerators while reducing carbon footprints and preserving natural resources.
In addition to giving waste materials new life, Naia™ Renew is certified biodegradable and compostable.
Sustainable solutions begin at home.
Consumers increasingly want more sustainable options for their home that don’t create waste or contribute to air and water pollution. But they also want great quality products.
Naia™ Renew staple fiber is perfect for the eco-conscious home textiles consumer. Towels made with Naia™ Renew are soft and quick drying, so they stay fresher longer. Bedding and fill made with Naia™ Renew makes bedlinens, pillows and duvets sustainable from the inside out. These solutions support the best of both worlds — sustainability without compromising the product’s quality.
