Global Awareness Creation for the Sustainable Development Goals

With more than 50 events in eleven countries, Messe Frankfurt is the international market leader for events in the textile sector along the entire textile value chain. Messe Frankfurt's international textile events are grouped under the Texpertise Network and attract around 23,000 exhibitors and 500,000 trade visitors every year.

Through the Messe Frankfurt Texpertise Network, we are working to speed up innovation and transformation in the textile and fashion industry. To boost this decade of action for achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals by 2030, we are briefing and mobilising players across the whole of the textile value-added chain and their partners in industry, with the focus on realising solutions for social, economic and ecological transformation.

Still on the rise: Carpets & Rugs grows by several hall levels and launches new content highlights

New area, new formats and new partnerships: Heimtextil 2025 is literally taking the product area Carpets & Rugs to new heights. For the upcoming event, the segment expands with several additional hall levels, presenting the most important international key players and innovative products from 14 to 17 January in Frankfurt. Carpet enthusiasts can look forward to a newly designed area initiated by the association Fedustria and the exhibitor Ragolle Rugs, with high-quality Belgian exhibitors, as well as a customised content programme.

Heimtextil University Contest 2025 attracts creative young talents - innovative solutions for the future

The winners of the Heimtextil University Contest 2025 have been announced: Kateryna Basiuk, Eszter Nagy and Birke-Katharina Weber impressed with their clever textile solutions on the topics of light, sound protection and colour. In 2025, the contest received around twice as many submissions as last year. The selected projects can be seen at the world's largest trade fair for home and contract textiles from 14 to 17 January 2025 in Frankfurt.

The trade association Matratzen-Industrie e.V. will be presenting forward-looking developments at Heimtextil in Hall 11.0: first and foremost the topics of extended producer responsibility, R-strategies, reverse logistics and mattress recycling. Visitors will gain insights into the latest trends of the industry and can talk directly to the experts. Global stage for inspiration: Heimtextil expands product range and makes textile interior design more visible than ever before

Resilient into to the new business year: From 14 to 17 January, already 2,900 exhibitors from 60 countries will present current trends, the latest collections, innovative materials and textile solutions at Heimtextil. High-calibre highlights await visitors: For the first time, the Milan-based design platform Alcova will curate the Heimtextil Trends 25/26. In addition, the worldwide renowned designer and architect Patricia Urquiola brings textile design to life in the exclusive installation ‘among-us’.
