About us

Mohan Spintex India Limited (MSIL) is a vertically integrated home textile manufacturer with state-of-the-art in-house infrastructure. Established in 2005 near Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh, MSIL is committed to manufacturing high-quality products backed by sustainable initiatives and innovative technologies. Recognized by The Textile Magazine as one of the fastest-growing companies in India, it has become a trusted name in the global textile industry.

MSIL operates with impressive capacities across all stages of production. Its cut-and-sew facility can handle 18,000 sets per day, while both its processing and weaving divisions achieve 100,000 metres per day. Spinning operations produce 75 tons of yarn per day. The company also holds multiple internationally recognized certifications, including Made in Green, OEKO-TEX, GOTS-Organic, Egyptian, BCI, WRAP, CT-PAT, SEDEX, SMETA, and IMS (ISO9001:2015, ISO14001:2015, ISO45001:2018).

Mohan Spintex integrates spinning, weaving, processing, and made-ups under one umbrella. In spinning, it operates 1,21,488 spindles, 6,272 OE rotors, and 4,800 TFO drums with a capacity of 75 tons per day. In weaving, its 348 looms deliver wider-width fabrics at 100,000 metres per day. Processing facilities have a capacity of 100,000 metres per day, equipped with advanced machinery including continuous ranges and rotary printing to produce superior finishes. In made-ups, the company manufactures 3,00,000 sheet sets per month and 25,000 quilts and comforters per month.

Mohan Spintex has invested approximately $150 million to build vertically integrated manufacturing facilities across three locations near Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh. These state-of-the-art plants are dedicated to producing high-quality bedding products and accessories for both domestic and international markets.

Sustainability is at the core of MSIL’s operations. The company has installed 10.8 MW rooftop solar power units, avoiding 13,296 tonnes of CO₂ emissions annually — equivalent to planting 66,480 trees every year. In its steam generation systems, coal has been replaced with rice husk, which avoids 54,444 tonnes of CO₂ annually and cuts carbon emissions by 95% compared to coal usage. MSIL also operates a state-of-the-art effluent treatment plant (ETP) with zero liquid discharge, recovering up to 98% of water from process discharges and recycling it to reduce freshwater consumption. Rainwater harvesting systems collect and store up to 20 million litres of water, using both roof and non-roof collection methods to lessen dependence on groundwater.

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is another cornerstone of Mohan Spintex’s philosophy. In education and skills, the company has built skill centres to provide training for unemployed youth, extended financial support to poor meritorious students, and developed infrastructure for village schools. In health and hygiene, it has installed RO systems to provide potable water in rural areas, built sanitation facilities, organized free eye camps, and supplied fabrics for masks during the Covid pandemic.

Women empowerment is a key focus, with 60% of MSIL’s workforce being women, which promotes gender equality and creates meaningful employment opportunities. In sustainable farming support, the company educates farmers on optimal fertilizer usage, supplies farm equipment, and improves socio-economic conditions in rural communities.

Mohan Spintex also engages in broader community development. It has adopted five villages under the “Smart Villages Program” to implement various development activities, including constructing bio-toilets — with three villages already declared open defecation-free — and expanding crematorium facilities in rural regions. It has installed benches in rural schools, refurbished school buildings, and promotes environmental preservation by prohibiting plastic consumption, planting trees, and installing tree guards to protect them. In addition, the company actively supports individuals with diverse abilities by enhancing accessibility and inclusion.

Through these initiatives, Mohan Spintex has built a reputation as a forward-looking, environmentally responsible, and community-oriented company. Its fully integrated operations, large production capacities, significant investments, strong certifications, and comprehensive CSR programs together position MSIL as a benchmark for quality, sustainability, and social responsibility in India’s textile sector.
