Mosquitoes cause unbearable itching, skin irritations and are by far the most dangerous animal for humans. Vectors for a number of diseases, they indirectly kill 800,000 people every year. The WHO has made this global health threat a priority. The Linder innovations laboratory in collaboration with the company Tergal Protect® has developed a revolutionary textile, made in France, to combat these pests on a daily basis.

Leveraging on its century long experience, Linder has created the first depolluting curtain that blends beauty and innovation. The fabric is woven and finished in Linder's workshops in France.

This curtain destroys 90% of the most common and most dangerous pollutant found in the indoor air of homes: formaldehydes and aldehydes.

It is during the dyeing process that an active liquid is applied onto the curtain, allowing it to capture and destroy the formaldehydes and aldehyde in the air.

The Linder company has just launched a sheer woven with 100% recycled yarns from plastic bottles. The collected bottles are turned into a polyester yarn by a mechanical process which does not use any chemical product. This process reduces the CO2 emissions and saves water and energies. Eight 1.5L plastic bottles are necessary to weave a 145x240 cm curtain.
