Cords : We produce various types of cords, mainly in cellulosic materials like cotton, viscose, jute or hemp. 2 to 10 mm diameter are available on stock, other dimensions may be produced upon request. We propose thin knitted cords called “tricotine” used for made to measure tiebacks or tassels.
Piping trim : Our decorative cotton, linen or viscose borders are suitable for making cushions, bedcover and sofa. Please pay attention to our 100% made in France velvet piping ! Called double thread, twin rope or double piping, this cord is suitable to finish a seat or a lampshade.
Lezarde (snake braid) : These little scalopped trims, whose shape is waving like the tail of a snake, are used to hide the seams of a fabric, or joining lines of a piece of furniture. Our braids are woven in natural fibers like linen, jute or viscose.
Fringes : Traditionnaly intended for the finishing of curtains, sofas or lampshade, fringes are as well suitable to garment manufacturing. We custom produce any type of fringe in cellulosic material : “marabout” cutfringe, tassel fringe, twisted fringe.

Tie-backs on a curtain provide a wide range of different services: they increase light when curtains are held open, they decorate the curtains attractively and make them hang neatly, they keep curtains away from activity in the room.
Traditional tie-backs are made from fabrics, modern tie-backs are now coming to the fore in different forms, material, colours …

We offer a wide range of eyelets: from plastic and brass to ready to sew bands. From 15 to 66mm diameter brass and plated eyelets 
Steel eyelets are mainly used for “ready to install” curtains for economic reasons. This product is likely to be oxidized and is not resistant to corosion.
Galvanized painted eyelets, is a brand new product, offering a good quality-price ratio ,machine washable and compatible with dry cleaning. Tests made by a laboratory proves its resistance to corosion in saline environment.
Brass eyelets remain best prefered product by upholsterers and “fabric by the meter” specialists looking for a high quality level.
Our range includes nine standard colours, available in 12 to 66 mm diameters.
Lacquered eyelets are covered by a thin paint elastic layer to help setting. It is nevertheless important to follow a few simple tips; our commercial team remains at your disposal to explain them to you.

We offer different types of wave tapes including complete rail system, applicable to both domestic and contract end use. They create perfect waves for curtains, suitable for both rods and rails systems.

RUBANS HERAUD has been weaving curtain heading tapes since 1966. We currently offer a range of more than 100 products, in various widths and shades, distributed in main European countries. Taking into account the evolution of home-furnishing markets, our production moved into new sectors : Production of buckram for curtain heading with eyelets.
