Labyrinth is a  revolutionary and unique new filling material for the mattress industry that has extraordinary properties which cannot be met by most filling materials used in our industry. Because of its 3D multifilament, open wire ‘spaghetti-like’ structure, humidity will be wicked away very fast due to the abundance of oxygen.

A sleep environment rich in oxygen is critical for our cognitive and physical regeneration during sleep. It also helps us sleep longer and deeper. Labyrinth gives you the highest level of comfort. We have two versions:

• Labyrinth 100 is made of 100% TPE. The raw material has a silver cradle to cradle certificate.
• Labyrinth 200 is made of 100% LDPE and can be recycled in the current plastic recycle stream.

Labyrinth consists of just 1 Polymer, making it fully recyclable!

PURe Natural. Produced using eitherr renewable plant-based fibres or end of natural like animal-based fibres. These fibers are skillfully turned into flexible fibers and bonded using natural Latex resulting in a product that is 100% plastic-free. Our PURe PU Replacement material allows you to cut down your CO2 footprint 6 to 20 times when compared to PU foam.

Taillok XXE our latest innovation to offer a ventilating natural filling layer with Horse Tail fibres for quilted mattresses. The Taillok Extra Extra Elastic (XXE) has unique properties. The composition of the product is 55% natural latex and 45% selected horse & cattle tail fibres. Due to the high natural latex content the product is extremely flexible and elastic. In fact, it can serve as an alternative to conventional latex sheets.

‘Open latex’
The main difference with conventional latex is that Taillok XXE has an open structure. This structure guarantees maximum ventilation. Due to this ventilation a Taillok sheet offers great micro climate. The airflow within the open structure evaporates humidity. The dryer we sleep, the better we sleep..

ENKEV's hairlok is made purely from natural animal hair and natural latex.

Hairlok is ideal for distributing pressure over pocket springs without limiting
the point elasticity that the pockets provide. Hairlok’s flexibility means it can even
be used as a comfort layer. Hairlok’s high point elasticity and three-dimensional
strength are its main functional attributes. And it’s 100% natural.

Scientific tests have proven that horse hair creates an excellent micro-climate,
keeping us comfortable in warm and cold conditions. The quick-drying property
of horse hair is perfect for a mattress or a seat because body temperatures are
often transformed into moisture in the form of perspiration. If you feel dry, you
feel better.

Enkev spins the hair into ropes to create thousands of natural micro-springs,
resulting in enduring resilience. Then the ropes are transformed into sheets before
being sprayed with natural latex, a fully renewable material, to provide them with
structure and elasticity. Natural latex is inherently hypo-allergenic, antimicrobial
and dust-mite-resistant, making it perfect for allergy sufferers.

Nature constantly replenishes these materials, which are unsurpassed in resilience,
durability and ventilation. Animal hair is normally discarded as waste, but Enkev
reuses this wonderful material and gives it a new purpose in life.

Hairlok’s open and resilient structure creates a perfect micro-climate. Its superb
shock-absorbing properties makes it suitable for mattresses.

Hairlok can be treated with natural additives to meet a range of international fire
retardancy standards.

Hemp production is easy to achieve organically. Therefore, many of the ecological problems in chemical farming of other fibres are obviated. Hemp quickly grows up to 5 metres in height with dense foliage which blocks weed growth. This means herbicides are not needed and the field is weed free for the next crop. Unlike cotton hemp does not have a high-water requirement. The hemp plant has a deep tap root system which enables the plant not take advantage of deep subsoil moisture, thus requiring little or no irrigation. Natural fibre from the hemp stalk is extremely durable.
Hemp is long, strong, and durable. Hemp fibre conducts heat, dyes well, resists mildew, blocks ultraviolet light and has natural anti-bacterial properties. Hemp has been used for centuries to make rope, canvas, and paper. Long hemp fibres can be spun and woven to make crisp, linen-like fabric used in clothing, home furnishing textiles and floor coverings. Blending with cotton, linen, silk and wool gives hemp a softer feel, while adding resistance and durability to the product.
