The company specialises in made-to-order cushion ranges, with feather and polyester filling, for some of the world's leading retailers, and has customers on every continent.

Caldeira manufactures cushions in cut velvet, chenille, jacquard, fur, tapestry and core plain ranges, and sources its fabrics and raw materials globally to ensure the latest designs and best value. At Heimtextil 2024 Caldeira will be showing its latest cushions in all of these fabrics.  

Most of Caldeira's customers are volume retailers which operate in the middle to luxury segment of the market place but the company is competitive enough to supply discount retailers too.

Most of Caldeira's business is done via full containers which are mainly delivered FOB Liverpool or FOB Shanghai, but at Heimtextil 2024 there are also some special stocks and job lots available. 

The company has traded since 1991 and in 2022 it acquired a new factory, showroom and new 8,000 square metre (85,000 square feet) headquarters in Liverpool, UK. 

As part of this investment Caldeira has installed a huge solar panel array which will enable the company to produce far more electricity than it uses, making Caldeira "Carbon Negative" .
