Young Contract Creations Award 2008: Upholstery

In 2008, Heimtextil, the International Trade Fair for Home and Contract Textiles, will for the first time organize the Young Contract Creations Award 2008: Upholstery; powered by Polsterfashion and Trevira CS
In cooperation with our partners Trevira GmbH and the publishing house Verlag M. Ritthammer GmbH, the event will revolve around seating furniture in functionality and design for the contract sector.

Whether in the hospitality, the transport or the health & care sectors – furnishing and interior design with special object requirements present growing market potential for creative people and the industry.
At the interface of interior architects and product and textile designers in connection with function-oriented challenges, the award will go to outstanding performances delivered by students majoring in the respective fields, to exams candidates and graduates. The aim is to develop innovative approaches and solutions with concrete implementation potential. Young talent will be promoted and given the opportunity to present their designs to a broad audience at Heimtextil and, thus, make first contacts for a great start in their careers.
