Collaboration: Frankfurt School for Apparel and Fashion

The Design Department of the Frankfurt School for Apparel and Fashion (Frankfurter Schule für Bekleidung und Mode) will make a presentation at Heimtextil 2012.

This project is a collaboration of Heimtextil Frankfurt with students of the Frankfurt Höchst vocational school (Fachschule), which will use models in Hall 11.0 to visualise the colour trends, zeitgeist and fashion visions for 2012/13.

In cooperation with Heimtextil exhibitors, the students will create artistically experimental to avant-garde models that, on the one hand, indicate the direction being taken by the ‘textile zeitgeist’ and, on the other hand, reveal the multifaceted areas of application for the different materials, structures and new products of companies in the home-textile sector. The deliberate choice of a light colour spectrum with metallic accents (gold /silver), oriented towards the Heimtextil trend colours, will focus attention on materials and material combinations.
