Besides Hessian tapas, the menu includes eight varieties of tarte flambee, schnitzel and delicious spit-roast meat from the show oven. And, there is an attractive programme of events ranging from sports events and concerts, via film festivals and media panel discussions, to art exhibitions.
Depot 1899 is located in historical premises – erected 110 years ago as a depot for the local tramway and used for this purpose until 2003.
The architecture inside and outside is correspondingly extravagant. In the restaurant with its 6.50 metre ceiling, a light wooden floor in the entrance area, leather-covered chairs and warm lighting ensure a cosy atmosphere.
The terrace of the new ‘in’ location is one of the biggest in all Frankfurt. A big, round-arch hall represents the idea setting for even the most unusual event concepts.
With seating for 650, Depot 1899 is split into a restaurant, which is open daily, and an area for events of all kinds with up to 400 visitors. Thanks to sophisticated room-partitioning facilities, Depot 1899 is the ideal place to hold your event.
